Depending upon the financial conditions of the countries, there are two categories in which they are grouped into: developed and developing. Those countries who are poor and whose citizens are mostly agricultural farmers but the one who wants to become developed socially and economically is called a developed country. A group of industrialized countries are called developed countries that have a greater per capita and have a well established economy. Often it happens that developing countries need money for infrastructural, industrial growth and many other different projects. This they get from the developed countries. There are many organizations such as World Bank or IMF (International Monetary Fund) that provide the aid. The richer countries put their money in these organizations and then this is the money given as aid.

There are many advantages and disadvantages of accepting and donating money to countries. International aid can help to eradicate poverty, hunger help get access to medical scrupulousness. It can also solve refugee as well as rehabilitation problems. International aid helps in the technology transfer, in which the donating country provides machinery and the like to receiving countries. It also helps to strengthen the relationship between the countries. It brings people of different social and economic backgrounds closer to one and other to create cultural interactions among the people. The receiving countries, with the help of international aid, can progress at a faster rate and provide basic amenities to its people. International aid helps in providing education to public; this education helps to prevent social problems such as AIDS and other diseases. Countries can also help to upgrade the augmentation of democracy and free markets around the globe. The aid can help to elevate trade between the two interacting countries. This helps both the countries financially. It encourages fortitude, understanding and promotes sturdiness.

However, there are also disadvantages of giving aid to poor countries. The poor countries start to depend on it. The people of that country may start to neglect their duties, which further accentuate problems for their governments. The interest with each aid can also be a problem for a country to pay.

We see that there are various advantages and disadvantages related to giving aid to poorer countries but we can eliminate disadvantages by using the money wisely and judiciously. The receiving countries should strive hard to repay the money; in the meantime, they will prosper.
